Gamble Estate

How do we preserve our History and not make irreversible mistakes that effects a community and a city forever?

The beautiful Gamble Estate is thankfully going to be preserved through Mr. Louise Nipperts benevolence in perpetuity.  Unfortunately the sole of the property the beautiful Queen Anne house built and lived in until his death by the John N. Gamble the inventor of Ivory Soap and man who started Procter and Gamble along the path of greatness, is slated to be destroyed.  Mrs. Nippert inherited the property when the heir of the estate John Gambles Grand Nephew, Lou Nippert past away without making clear what he wanted done with his family estate.  I have to believe she does not want the house torn down, I know he didn't, but would prefer its destruction than to be uncertain of its long term care and status.  This would never happen in Europe actually many nations would consider this home a national treasure, but unfortunately since this home isn't in Indian Hill this home will probably be torn down.

Hopefully we can stop the destruction and come up with a viable plan, which means money, to keep this home as Mrs. Nippert envisions.  Please support the effort by logging on to www.westwoodconcern.org and signing the petition to stop this tragedy.
